Even though the popularity of tablets was never as great as that of laptops, the enormous swing that mobile phones today have, made the developers think twice about the direction they are taking. In the light of a statistic that by the year 2019 there will be almost 4.77 billion mobile users in the world, Lenovo decided to make a compromise and start with their YOGA series. Even though there will be a tough competition, some believe that 2016 will be the best year for both Lenovo and YOGA so far.

As for the most recent YOGA releases, few months ago in October 2015, two incredible devices Yoga Tab 3 and Yoga Tab 3 Pro Android tablets, came out. However, the most curious thing about these releases was not related to the specific devices, but to their media campaign. Namely, Lenovo made a deal with Ashton Kutcher to be the face of these products and in this way demonstrated that modern marketing is not something obscure to them. By playing this Steve-Jobs-like figure, and presenting these devices himself, Kutcher managed to do these two (otherwise incredible machines) a great favor.

Now, convertible laptop, or hybrid laptop as some like to call it is the device which contains both properties of a laptop and those of tablet. Hybrid, although laptop in its nature, can also folded so that it becomes a mobile device. Seeing how it is also optimized for touch controls, there is no visible difference between it and a proper tablet. In this way, you have two devices in one which is just ideal for any journey that you plan to undertake or for those who are constantly on the move.

Even though, over the course of the years we had some amazing convertible laptops from YOGA series, the upcoming YOGA 900s threatens to outdo them all. Still, even with its incredible features, what modern media somehow finds most interesting is a fact, that this model is going to be the thinnest convertible laptop so far. With its 12.8 mm and 999g heavy it will be the lightest device in the series so far. Of course, this was only made possible because of its cutting edge carbon fiber construction.

For every real tech savvy, this is where it becomes interesting. In fact the list of YOGA 900s specifications is impressive indeed. For starters, this cutting edge laptop comes equipped with Intel m7 processor as well as with screen fully capable of supporting 2560×1440 resolution. As for the price of the product this is where it becomes a bit tricky. Even though the price of recently released Yoga Tab 3 Pro amounted to no more, than $499, a price this modest cannot be expected from YOGA 900S. According to Lenovo website, upon its release in March 2016, this convertible laptop will cost no less than $1,099 (and this is without tax or shipping). On the other hand, this kind of price is understandable for the machine of such a quality. Seeing how YOGA 900S will upon its release be the pinnacle of this technology, it is only suitable that its cost is to match. So if you want the best, you need to pay adequately. As simple as that.
